This is a solo episode where I discuss something called The Arrogance of Dismissal. I got the term from an interview DJ Vlad did with Pras, formerly of the Fugees. It’s a concept that describes why white people often fall prey to cultural phenomenons that are utterly predictable and avoidable, but keep making the same mistakes due to a blind spot in their analysis that comes from a cognitive bias created by white supremacy that keep them from learning from examples that involve nonwhite people

This episode we have Emmet Penney (https://twitter.com/ChknNugtDeepSt8) on to discuss his article on a recent controversy that happened with DSA, the Democratic Socialists of America, regarding the election of Danny Fetonte to the organization’s National Political Committee (NPC), which manages and directs the organization, Fetonte, a union organizer, was accused of covering up his involvement with organizing on behalf of police unions. Penney is the Membership Co-Chair for the Santa Fe DSA as well as one of the people who helped vote Fetonte in before discovering his involvement with police unions.
